Aug 12, 2016 Joker is a political satire which criticises the present political absurdities. Mannar Mannan (Protagonist), a rural villager, who self declares himself as President of India, always protests Government for all the absurdities happening around his village.
Appropriately enough, the score for Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker builds on the industrial rock sound of the WB show's soundtrack, fleshing it out with more extended pieces and symphonic elements. Though some slightly dated, fussy guitar solos mar tracks like 'Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker (Main Title)' and 'Joker Crashes Bruce's Party,' the spooky electronica of 'Industrial Heist,' the hammering industrial rock of 'Nightclub Fight,' and the sweeping, orchestral 'A Trap for Tim' are surprisingly sophisticated and edgy for an animated film.
'Joker Family Portrait,' 'Healing Old Wounds,' and and 's 'Crash' are some of the other highlights from this score. Despite some slightly cheesy moments, easily ranks as one of the most innovative scores for a contemporary animated film.
'BGM 1' from the 1991 NES game 'Batman: Return of the Joker', composed by Naoki Kodaka, Nobuyuki Hara, and Shinichi Seya. This is not from emulation. This was recorded from a genuine front-loading NES console.
The NES was modded so its audio would bypass the amp/mixdown stage. This dual-channel audio directly from the 2A03 chip was amplified by a FiiO E6 and captured by a Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 Pro at 24-bit/96khz through Audacity, then mixed down to mono and losslessly encoded using FLAC.
In other words, it's essentially the authentic NES hardware sound but without the buzzing noise. All credit for this recording goes to 'The Iron Goat'.
